• Aboyne Community Day

    Aboyne Community Day Saturday 1st July

    A fun family day hosted by the Victory Hall, Tennis Club and Bowling Club and many other civic groups in our community.

    The morning will focus on wellbeing activities and children games in the hall.  Try bowling and tennis during the day or go on a guided walk to learn about the Mills O Aboyne.

    The Heritage Society and Aboyne Academy will tell the story of Education in Aboyne. 

    In the afternoon the hall will be full of music and dance via the Deeside Orchestra,  Coup Ceilidh band and school rock band.  A BBQ will be hosted on the grass next to the tennis courts.

  • Comedy @VHA

    A night of comedy is coming to the Victory Hall Aboyne on Friday 12rth May 6.30pm.  Breakneck  Comedy with Paul Riley is hosting the evening.

  • Summer weddings

    With the clocks about to be changed to UK summer time, Deeside starts to be bathed in long days of sunlight. Sunny days happen more often than most folk think in the rain shadow of the Cairngorm Mountains.  Late Spring into Summer makes the Victory Hall a perfect rural settings to host a wedding.

    Public meeting to learn more about much faster local broadband 30th March 2pm at the Hall.

  • DIY Rural Wedding

    The Hall is a popular wedding venue for those couples wishing to put together their own DIY wedding.  They hire in skills in interior design services or get family friends to decorate the hall, this can range from traditional tartan, to a Scottish rainforest to sparkling fairy lights.

    The wedding services can be held in the hall but nearby woodlands and the banks of the river Dee have also been used.

    Overall, the hall provides a blank canvas to create a wedding experience of your dreams.  A full catering kitchen compliments the hall with the options to self cater or hire a range of experienced local caterers.

  • Blossom weddings

    Now Spring has started the early bulbs are starting to bring colour to Aboyne.  Couple more weeks and the Gean, or wild cherry blossom will be start to show.  A beautiful time of year for a wedding.  The sun is warm and the daylight stretching but still room for an April show or two.

  • Bookkeeping digital room

    The Digital Meeting Room held a Business GateWay bookkeeping course at the start of this week.  Local businesses took part with E3 Aboyne co-hosted the event.

    Smart board used for presentation using lap top connected by HDMI cable.

  • Sounds of spring Deeside Orchestra

    The Deeside Ochstara entertain the community in March with a selection of Spring passages and with a  guest singer.

  • Spring Family Ceilidh

    Spring Family & Community Ceilidh on Saturday 25 March 7pm.  Tickets online or on the door.

    Funding raising for Mid Deeside Day Care Charity hosts local pensioners at the Victory Hall every Wednesday of the year.
